Well, different people may give different answer. Some say once you deleted the files or damage the phone, then everything including data will be gone for good. While some others may say it is quite possible as there are many data recovery agencies or specialists claim they can do Android data recovery. So which side is right or should be trust?
The real answer is YES or NO, surprising? Don’t have to. As a matter of fact, chances of Android file recovery depends on where those deleted photo, video or music files originally located.
If they were saved on the internal phone memory, then the answer is NO. There is nothing you can do to rescue items lost from there unless you have backups. If you don’t have, then chances of recovery is almost 0%.
If they were saved on the external memory (or mass memory) of the Android phone, then the answer is YES and chances of recovery can be 100% as long as the data contained in the files are not overwritten or damaged. Why? Because there are some Android data recovery programs special designed to deal with.Android Data Recovery Software for Windows & Mac
When you are taking either of the Android recovery programs to rescue data, here is a step by step guide that should do some help.
STEP 1: Connect your Android phone to a PC or Mac. Then download and install the recovery program. Note: you can either connect the phone to the computer via a USB cable, or take the mass memory card out of the phone and use a card reader load and insert to your computer USB port.
STEP 2: Start to scan your Android phone memory for lost files. The process may take some time.
STEP 3: Preview and recover found files easily.
